Sarah wrote Trust The Freefall during a period of intense change in her life. The song was inspired by her psychologist telling her to "trust the freefall" and have faith that her life would work out, even if there was no way to see what the future held. Sarah pours her emotions into her lyrics, aiming to be completely raw and human in her songwriting and create music that others can relate to on a deep level. In this track there is a back and forth between anxiety and fear of the unknown, and then hope and strength. The track was recorded at Sound Out Studios owned and run by Casper Hall. Casper plays drums on the track and provided production, mixing and creative input to the arrangement of the song. It was mastered by Matthew Gray.

Sarah Alice is an Australian singer-songwriter with a passion for expressing emotion through music and inspiring others with her story. Her major influences are Missy Higgins, Ed Sheeran, Newton Faulkner and Delta Goodrem, and her sound is a combination of these influences plus her own flair. Sarah uses heartfelt lyrics, catchy riffs and a sweet vocal tone to capture and inspire audiences of all ages. Born in Canberra and raised in Brisbane, Australia, Sarah’s interest in the Arts was obvious from when she was very young. Sarah completed a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Performance) at JMC Academy, Brisbane in January 2014, during which time her gigging career kicked off. Sarah now performs at venues all over Brisbane and surrounds including cafes, breweries and restaurants. In 2013 Sarah independently produced and released her debut album, Reflection, and her debut music video, Don't Let the Chain Break. Her debut studio single, Enough, was released in 2022.
