‘Night Undresses The Day’ is the new country coastal single from award-winning singer-songwriter Susan Muranty. Produced by Sven Tydeman and featuring a magical arrangement of live acoustic instruments, ‘Night Undresses The Day’ continues Susan's joyous poetic exploration of the natural world. Inspired by her time spent living on Sydney’s beautiful Pittwater close to Barrenjoey Lighthouse, ‘Night Undresses The Day’ pays tribute to the sparkling mystery of golden hour when afternoon begins shedding its light for the dark “kiss” of evening. Playfully comparing the moment to a love affair between day and night, Susan’s song captures the carefree, romantic atmosphere of one of Sydney’s most iconic beach environments. Following closely on the success of her recent single, ‘Wild For The Country’ - which not only debuted in the Top 10 of the Australian Independent Radio Singles Chart but gained a finalist position in the Open Category of the International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA) – ‘Night Undresses The Day’ weaves another enchanting tale of the importance of landscape to our human psyche and sense of being. It also continues the storytelling journey which has won Susan a slew of other awards in recent years, including winners' trophies in the Lyrics Category of both the SCALA SA and Tamworth Songwriters Association (TSA) Songwriting Contests along with much coveted Lyrics Finalist nods in both the International Songwriting Contest (ISC) and the Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) Songwriting Contest.
